About Me
I am a senior at York College of Pennsylvania, where I am a devoted student
majoring in sport media. I have always had a knack for telling stories about sports,
which was furthered at York through the help of a diverse cast of mentors. As I've
continued gaining more experience at numerous facets of athletics, I am keen
on one day becoming a sportswriter. My portfolio will showcase my knowledge,
creativity and attention to detail in everything I do. Outside of the classroom
I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I am also a skilled cook
and my dream is to one day live in New York City.
What's Inside
To try and expand my knowledge on sports writing and practice conveying news and stats in a quick manner, I began volunteering for my school's athletic website. As a student writer, I watched numerous DIII sporting contests and put together concise stories for York's passionate fanbase. Under this tab are some of my more exciting pieces, ranging across multiple YCP sports teams.

As a part of my Independent Study class during my junior year, I started a blog on Substack with the help of a trusted faculty member. I've always been engrossed with this style of writing as it's a lot more opinionated and unfiltered. I learned more about connecting with an audience and arguing my points convincingly. I enjoyed the creative freedom so much that I am still active with the site today. Under this tab are some of my favorite writings I've ever done.

While studying for my sports media degree as an undergraduate, I had the opportunity to take courses that challenged me to grow as a writer. This collection of work received praise from my professors for their professional content.
